The Secretary must use the money provided to give grants to community groups so they can help 50 chosen employers or labor unions. The help can include recruiting and training women for apprenticeships and nontraditional jobs, running orientations for employers, unions, and workers, creating support groups and a local computer list of tradeswomen, acting as a go‑between on gender workplace issues, and doing exit interviews to see how the program is working.
