§522 Conflicting Periods of Location of Claims

Summary

If a mining claim located after December 31, 1952 but before December 11, 1953 overlaps land that is part of a claim located before January 1, 1953, and both claims qualify under this law, the later claim must be treated as if it was located on December 11, 1953 for the area where they overlap. If a mining claim located after February 10, 1954 overlaps land that is part of a claim located before February 10, 1954, and both claims qualify under this law, the later claim must be treated as if it was located 121 days after August 13, 1954 for the area where they overlap.
