Title 30 › Chapter 2— MINERAL LANDS AND REGULATIONS IN GENERAL › § 54
Anyone who, on or after June 21, 1949, searches for, mines, or removes minerals by strip or open‑pit methods from land in a stock‑raising or homestead entry or patent must pay for damage that lowers the land’s grazing value. Rights existing on June 21, 1949 are not affected.
