The Director must keep and update the U.S. Government assistance awards information system created from the study under section 9 of the Federal Program Information Act. The system must be refreshed every quarter. The Director can give the job to another agency head, must review any agency’s plan for carrying out the work, and can check how an agency prepared its report. After each calendar quarter ends, the Director must promptly send the system data free of charge to the Committee on Rules and Administration of the Senate and to the Committee on House Oversight of the House of Representatives.
