Title 33 › Chapter 26— WATER POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL › Subchapter II— GRANTS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF TREATMENT WORKS › § 1289
Requires the President, using the Water Resources Council, to make a Level B plan under the Water Resources Planning Act for every river basin in the United States as soon as possible. All plans must be completed by January 1, 1980, with first priority for basins in the areas listed in section 1288(a)(2)–(4). Requires yearly reports to Congress on progress, with the first report due by January 31, 1973. Up to $200,000,000 is authorized to be appropriated to carry out these tasks.
