Title 33 › Chapter 36— WATER RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT › Subchapter I— COST SHARING › § 2220
The Secretary of Commerce may buy bonds and make loans for up to 50 years to help responsible local groups pay their required share of the cost of rivers, harbors, flood-control, hurricane-protection, beach-erosion, and similar waterway projects carried out under Army Corps plans approved by Congress, when those projects are wholly or partly in areas eligible for help under the Public Works and Economic Development Act of 1965. Up to $10,000,000 per fiscal year may be appropriated for this purpose for the year ending June 30, 1966, and for each fiscal year through the year ending June 30, 1970.
