Title 33 › Chapter 36— WATER RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT › Subchapter V— GENERAL PROVISIONS › § 2281
Require the Secretary to address economic development, environmental and public well‑being, safety, and cultural/historic values in water project planning. Report measurable and nonmeasurable benefits and costs, and include possible loss of life from flooding and coastal storms. For feasibility reports completed after December 31, 2007, the Secretary must show each project and separable element is cost‑effective and follows federal, state, and local laws and public policies.
