The Corps of Engineers must finish any post-authorization change report without delay because of shifts in policy or priority. When a report is done, the Corps must send it to the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works and to the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. If the Secretary must review a finished report, the Secretary must complete that review and send any recommendations to Congress within 120 days after the report is completed. For reports finished before December 16, 2016, the Secretary had to finish review and send recommendations within 120 days after December 16, 2016. The term "post-authorization change report" means a general reevaluation report, a limited reevaluation report, or any other report that recommends changing an authorized water resources project.
