Title 33 › Chapter 36— WATER RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT › Subchapter V— GENERAL PROVISIONS › § 2295
Gather and print the U.S. laws about rivers, harbors, flood control, beach erosion, and other water projects that were passed after November 8, 1966 and before January 1, 1987. The Secretary and the Chief of Engineers must do this within one year after November 17, 1986. They must also reprint the earlier volumes for laws passed before November 8, 1966, add an index to each volume, and send copies to Congress. Each year the Secretary must make a two-volume report required by section 556. Volume I is a short summary of the Corps of Engineers’ work and achievements. Volume II gives detailed data and field reports. Each annual report needs an index. Every two years the Secretary must publish, for the public, a separate state-by-state volume listing each water project under the Secretary’s control and its status, with an index. The first state reports must be published within one year after November 17, 1986.
