Title 33 › CHAPTER 36 — WATER RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT › SUBCHAPTER V — GENERAL PROVISIONS › § 2308
The Secretary may create separate campgrounds for people who are 62 years old or older at any lake or reservoir the Secretary manages where camping is allowed. The Secretary can also make rules about who may use those campgrounds and how people get in. Money can be provided as needed for fiscal years beginning after September 30, 1986, to set up these campgrounds. The Secretary must create a specific campground at Sam Rayburn Dam and Reservoir in Texas on a parcel described in the law. The Secretary must write rules for use and access at that campground. Up to $600,000 is authorized for fiscal years beginning after September 30, 1986, to develop the Sam Rayburn campground. The parcel is about 50 acres in Angelina County, Texas, part of the Thomas Hanks survey, and the law gives exact boundary points and distances for it.
