Title 33 › Chapter 36— WATER RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT › Subchapter V— GENERAL PROVISIONS › § 2339
The Secretary can make cooperative agreements with public and nonprofit groups to provide training and education about water resources projects and to help with natural resource conservation or recreation management. The Secretary can also work with multistate regional private nonprofit rural community assistance groups to help with water resource checks, community planning, development, and project management. The Secretary must, as much as possible, use qualified youth service and conservation corps and give them the greatest chance to take part. Agreements made under this rule are not treated as cooperative agreements covered by chapter 63 of title 31.
