Parts of the old Calumet River channel in the northwest quarter of section 30, township 37 north, range 15 east, third principal meridian, Cook County, Illinois, that lie outside the new channel lines shown on the map titled "Map of the Calumet River, Illinois, from Lake Michigan to Calumet Lake" (the map with W. G. Ewing’s report about the July 5, 1884 Act) will no longer be considered navigable water once a new navigable channel is cut through that quarter inside the new lines. The part of the old channel in the north quarter of fractional section 7, township 37 north, range 15 east, south of the Indian boundary line in Cook County, that lies outside those same new channel lines is already no longer considered navigable water.
