Title 33 › Chapter 41— NATIONAL COASTAL MONITORING › § 2804
On September 30 every other year, beginning in 1993, the Administrator and the Under Secretary must send a joint report to the four named House and Senate committees about the condition of the Nation’s coastal ecosystems. The report must cover the ecosystems’ status and health, environmental trends and sources of damage, how floating trash builds up and threatens aquatic life, how well government programs to reduce damage are working, whether monitoring is adequate and what more is needed, and a summary of recent monitoring results from the related program.
