Defines a few key words used in the rules about shoreline erosion and protection. It tells what certain terms mean for those programs and projects. Erosion control program is the national program that develops and tests ways to stop shoreline erosion. Secretary means the Secretary of the Army. Separable element means what section 2213(f) says it means. Shore covers the shores of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, the Gulf of Mexico, the Great Lakes, and lakes, estuaries, and bays connected to them. Shore protection project includes things like beach nourishment and replacing sand.
