A part of Boston Inner Harbor and Fort Point Channel in Suffolk County, Massachusetts is not a navigable water of the United States under federal law. The area is everything inside a border that begins where the northeast edge of Northern Avenue meets the Fort Point Channel United States Pierhead Line; runs along Northern Avenue to Atlantic Avenue; follows Atlantic Avenue and Commercial Street to Hanover Street; goes to the southwest property line of the U.S. Coast Guard Base and along the base’s southwest and southeast property lines out to the Pierhead Line; and then follows the Pierhead Line back to the starting point.
