Title 33 › Chapter 13— MISSISSIPPI RIVER COMMISSION › § 648
The Mississippi River Commission now has authority over the part of the Arkansas River from its mouth to the division line between Lincoln and Jefferson Counties. Congressional funds for improving the Mississippi River between Head of Passes and the mouth of the Ohio River that are meant for levees and bank revetment may be spent in that added area under the Secretary of the Army, using Mississippi River Commission plans approved by the Chief of Engineers and on the same terms as other Commission projects.
