Title 33 › Chapter 13— MISSISSIPPI RIVER COMMISSION › § 650
Congress money for improving the Mississippi River between Head of Passes and the mouth of the Ohio River that is set aside for levees may be spent by the Secretary of the Army. The work must follow plans and recommendations from the Mississippi River Commission approved by the Chief of Engineers, and can fund levees anywhere on the river between Head of Passes and Rock Island, Illinois, to best help navigation and commerce at all river levels.
