Defines three key words used in this part. Attorney General means the U.S. Attorney General. Program of education means a course, subject, or set of courses at an eligible school that people accept as needed to reach a specific educational, professional, or job goal; it can cover more than one goal if the goals are clearly related to the same career field. Eligible educational institution means a school that counts as a “higher education” institution under section 102 of the Higher Education Act (20 U.S.C. 1002) and that can take part in Title IV federal student-aid programs (20 U.S.C. 1070 et seq.).
