§10515 Restrictions on Use of Funds

Summary
When the federal government pays for a project with a grant, contract, or cooperative agreement under this subchapter, it will pay no more than 75% of the project's total cost for the fiscal year the project gets funding. A State or local government cannot use more than 10% of the funds it gets under this subchapter for administrative costs.

(a)The Federal share of a grant, contract, or cooperative agreement made under this subchapter may not exceed 75 percent of the total costs of the project described in the application submitted for the fiscal year for which the project receives assistance.
