Summary

If money is available, the Attorney General, with the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, must set up and run a Veteran Treatment Court Program. It will give grants and technical help to court systems that either already have a veterans treatment court or have filed a notice to start one with the Secretary. The program must act as a single Justice Department office to coordinate grants, training, and help for State, local, and Tribal governments to create and maintain these courts. It must include the grant programs under sections 10651 and 10701 and other laws. The Attorney General must make rules to carry out the program.
