The Attorney General can give grants to local and tribal governments, jails and prisons, other public or private groups, and regional partnerships to pay for programs that treat juvenile sex offenders. A juvenile sex offender is someone under 18 when the offense happened, and $10,000,000 was authorized for each of fiscal years 2007 through 2009.
