A State that gets a grant under this part must send a report to the Attorney General within 90 days after the 1-year period when the grant money had to be spent. The report must say how many prisoners applied and how many were placed in community correctional facilities; how many were returned to the State’s custody and why; what education and job training participants received; how many and what kinds of contracts were made with public or nonprofit community groups; and an evaluation of how well the project met the goals in section 12241.
