§12575 Eligibility

Summary

You can get a scholarship under this part if you were employed in law enforcement for the 2-year period right before the date you ask for assistance. If you have worked as a law enforcement officer, you cannot take part in a student employment program run under this part.

Title 34, §12575

(a)A person shall be eligible to receive a scholarship under this part if the person has been employed in law enforcement for the 2-year period immediately preceding the date on which assistance is sought.
(b)A person who has been employed as a law enforcement officer is ineligible to participate in a student employment program carried out under this part.
