If funds are available, the Attorney General must work with the FBI Director and the Secretary of Homeland Security (including the Executive Associate Director of HSI). They must add at least 10 operational FBI agents to help the Justice Department’s Criminal Division handle cybercrimes against individuals. Each U.S. Attorney’s office must name at least one Assistant U.S. Attorney for these cases, and a regular training program must teach FBI agents how to investigate and prosecute these crimes, including forensic skills.
