Title 34 › Subtitle Subtitle IV— Criminal Records and Information › Chapter 413— CRIME REPORTS AND STATISTICS › § 41304
Requires the Attorney General to make sure the uniform crime reports include each victim’s age and how the victim and offender were related for violent crimes like murder, aggravated and simple assault, rape and other sexual crimes, and crimes against children. The Director of the Bureau of Justice Statistics must use the annual National Crime Survey to collect and publish better national data on domestic violence, especially physical and sexual abuse of children and the elderly. Funding is allowed as needed for fiscal years 1989, 1990, 1991, and 1992 to carry out these tasks.
