Members of Congress may give the State and Local Law Enforcement Badge to a recipient who lives in their congressional district. If a Senator and a Representative both give the badge, they must do it together. If no Member gives it, the Attorney General or someone the Attorney General picks will. Congressional offices or the State and Local Board arrange presentations.
