The corporation must carry out the purposes in its articles of incorporation and keep 13 national commitments. It must be loyal to the United States and promote American values. It must protect free institutions, defend Jewish people and their good name, and fight bigotry and oppression wherever they appear. It must help fellow members and their families, support and create educational programs (including for former service members), encourage love of country and respect for the flag, promote strong minds and bodies among members and youth, remember Jewish veterans, and care for the graves of the heroic dead.
