Summary

Only women who are blood relatives of a person who served as a soldier or sailor from April 12, 1861, through April 9, 1865, can be members. The service must have been in the United States Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Revenue‑Cutter Service, or a State regiment called into federal service under U.S. generals, and that person must have been honorably discharged or died in that service. Unless this chapter says otherwise, the corporation’s constitution and bylaws set member classes, rights, and who is eligible. Each member gets one vote on every matter at member meetings.
