§152407 Provision and Acceptance of Support by Librarian of Congress

Summary

The Librarian of Congress can give the corporation staff, office space, and other administrative help, including paying expenses under section 152403(f). The corporation must pay the Librarian back for that help. The money repaid must go into the U.S. Treasury to the same appropriation that covered the cost. The Librarian can also accept the corporation and its directors, officers, and employees as unpaid volunteers to carry out work allowed under this chapter. The Librarian may do this without following chapters 33 and 51 and subchapter III of chapter 53 of title 5 and related rules, and without paying them.
