The corporation cannot sell shares or pay dividends. It cannot take part in political activities or try to influence laws. Its money and property cannot be used for the personal gain of any director, officer, or member while the charter lasts or when it closes, except the board may approve officer pay and reimburse actual necessary expenses. The corporation also cannot lend money to a director, officer, or employee, or claim it has Congress’s approval or speaks for the U.S. government.
