§170504 Membership

Summary
The organization must use its constitution and bylaws to decide who can be a member and what rights members have, unless another part of this chapter says otherwise. The rules for membership cannot treat people differently because of their race, color, religion, or national origin.

(a)Except as provided in this chapter, eligibility for membership in the corporation and the rights and privileges of members are as provided in the constitution and bylaws of the corporation.
(b)The terms of membership may not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, or national origin.
