§20103 Membership

Summary
The corporation’s bylaws (its internal rules) decide who may join and what kinds of membership and member rights exist, unless another part of the chapter says otherwise. If the bylaws give a member the right to vote, that person gets one vote on each item at a members’ meeting, and the bylaws explain how votes are cast.

Patriotic and National Observances, Source: USLM XML via OLRC
(a)Eligibility.—
Except as provided in this chapter, eligibility for membership in the corporation and the rights, privileges, and designation of classes of members are as provided in the bylaws.
(b)Voting.—
Each member given voting rights by the bylaws has one vote on each matter submitted to a vote at a meeting of the voting members. The vote may be cast in the manner provided in the bylaws.
