§20205 Governing Body

Summary
The organization must use its articles of incorporation and bylaws to decide who is on the board, what the board does, who the officers are, and how officers are chosen. Rules about who may serve as a director or officer cannot discriminate because of race, color, religion, sex, disability, age, or national origin.

(a)The board of directors and the responsibilities of the board are as provided in the bylaws and articles of incorporation.
(b)The officers and the election of officers are as provided in the bylaws and articles of incorporation.
(c)The requirements for serving as a director or officer may not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, disability, age, or national origin.
