The corporation must not do several things. It cannot issue stock or pay dividends, take part in political campaigns or try to influence laws, let its money or property be used for the personal gain of any director, officer, or member while the charter lasts, lend money to its directors, officers, or employees, or claim that Congress or the U.S. government approves its actions. Reasonable pay for officers and repayment of real, necessary expenses are allowed if the board approves.
