Title 36 › Subtitle Subtitle II— Patriotic and National Organizations › Part B— Organizations › Chapter 709— FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA › § 70902
Make the FFA an important part of agricultural education in schools, labs, and work programs. It must support teaching about agriculture, food, and natural resources, help prepare students for careers by linking them to college and job paths, and offer leadership training and hands-on learning. The FFA must act as a support group—not control state or local chapters—and must create teaching materials, programs, supplies, and events for state and local education groups. It must encourage inclusion and diversity, help start and support local chapters, build character and leadership, raise awareness of agriculture’s global and technological importance, promote careers in related fields, work with state education officials, and carry out other activities that fit these goals.
