§2043 Domiciliary Care Programs

Summary
The Secretary can establish up to 10 additional domiciliary programs under section 1710(b) to serve homeless veterans. The Secretary must make sure these programs have enough space and are safe for women veterans.

(a)Authority.—
The Secretary may establish up to 10 programs under section 1710(b) of this title (in addition to any program that is established as of the date of the enactment of this section) to provide domiciliary services under such section to homeless veterans.
(b)Enhancement of Capacity of Domiciliary Care Programs for Female Veterans.—
The Secretary shall take appropriate actions to ensure that the domiciliary care programs of the Department are adequate, with respect to capacity and with respect to safety, to meet the needs of veterans who are women.
