Title 38 › Part III— READJUSTMENT AND RELATED BENEFITS › Chapter 33— POST–9/11 EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE › Subchapter II— EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE › § 3314
If you get education benefits under this law, you can also get tutorial help like the help given to eligible veterans under section 3492. That help follows the same rules as for those veterans. Your teacher or instructor must also certify that the tutoring is needed to fix a weakness in the course and that the course is required, a prerequisite, or necessary for your approved program. Tutoring pay is up to $100 per month for up to 12 months, not to exceed $1,200 total. This money is extra, on top of payments under section 3313 and any other education benefits under this chapter.
