§602 Publication of List of Resources of Department of Veterans Affairs for Toxic-exposed Veterans and Veterans Who Report Toxic Exposures and Outreach Program for Such Veterans and Caregivers and Survivors of Such Veterans.

Summary

The Secretary of Veterans Affairs must publish a list of VA resources for veterans who were exposed to toxic substances or who report such exposure, for their families and caregivers, and for survivors who get death benefits. This list must be published no later than one year after the law was passed (Aug. 10, 2022) and every year after, and it must be updated from time to time. The Secretary must also create an outreach program, developed with input from the community, that gives veterans clear information about illnesses that might be linked to toxic exposures and explains available benefits and support programs.
