Title 38 › Part IV— GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS › Chapter 63— OUTREACH ACTIVITIES › Subchapter I— OUTREACH SERVICES PROGRAM › § 6306
The Secretary must work with the Secretary of Labor so state job services match eligible veterans and dependents to suitable jobs or training. When possible, state job staff should be placed at Department facilities to help. The Secretary must also team up with federal, state, and local agencies and recognized organizations to create and promote jobs and training, especially for veterans with service-connected disabilities. The Secretary can make referrals, provide office space to partners, and run studies with other agencies to find the best program design.
