The Secretary must give the appropriate committees of Congress a report within 100 days after each fiscal year ends. The report must cover the most recent fiscal year and list every performance award or bonus given that year to Regional Office Directors, Medical Center Directors, Veterans Integrated Service Network Directors, and senior executives. For each award it must state the dollar amount, the recipient’s job title, and the work location. "Appropriate committees" are the Senate and House Veterans’ Affairs and Appropriations Committees. "Senior executive" means a career appointee or an administrative/executive appointee under 38 U.S.C. 7306(a) or 7401(1). "Career appointee" is defined in 5 U.S.C. 3132(a).
