The Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims can charge a regular registration fee to people allowed to practice before it. The Court decides how often and how much. It can also charge fees to non-judge attendees at the Court’s conferences or other court activities. The fees can be used to pay for investigations and disciplinary actions, including hiring outside lawyers, and to fund conferences and other programs that support communication, study, remembrance, or improvement of veterans law and the Court’s work.
