At least ninety days before a sale, mail notice to the owner or, if the owner is deceased, to an executor, administrator, or nearest kin listed in Department records. If none are listed, post notice at the place of death or where the property was found (if it exists), at the property's location, and on the county probate board. The person who posts it must file a sworn statement saying when and where they posted it and attach a copy; that statement is accepted as proof.
