The President, or someone the President names, may sell, transfer, exchange, or otherwise dispose of securities the Federal Government got under the Transportation Act of 1920 (ch. 91, 41 Stat. 456). This includes securities obtained in bankruptcy (under title 11), receiverships, reorganizations, assignments, transfers, substitutions, issuances, or as collateral. The President or designee may also extend when the securities are due and may set the amounts, prices, and terms, and accept cash, other securities, property, or any mix, as they think best and in the public interest.
