§624 Information on Certain Leasing Authorities

Summary

Any federal agency that can sign leases on its own must send the Council, by December 31 of each year following the date of enactment of this subchapter, a list of all leases (including operating leases) that were active on the date this subchapter became law. The list must include seven items: the lease signing date and end date, the space size, the property location, the tenant agency, the total annual rent, and the net present value (the dollar amount today) of the government's total legal obligations under the lease. The rule does not apply to the United States Postal Service or to any property the Director excludes for national security reasons.
