Requires the District of Columbia and federal agencies to coordinate, as much as possible, their planning and public management with nearby parts of the Washington metropolitan area. The goal is to protect federal government operations in the District and to improve people’s welfare, health, living standards, and business activity. Working together lets the whole region solve shared community development problems.
