Commercial service means services the government buys that are also sold to the public. It covers support for commercial products (like installation and maintenance) when the seller offers the same services at the same time on similar terms. It also covers services sold competitively in substantial quantities at catalog or market prices for specific tasks under standard terms, including when moved among a contractor’s divisions, subsidiaries, or affiliates.
