Contractors cannot be forced to give up rights protected by the Constitution to get a federal contract when it relates to the Chemical Weapons Convention or the U.S. law that puts that treaty into effect. Federal agencies can still include a clause letting them inspect the contractor’s work to make sure the contract is being followed.
