Title 41 › Subtitle Subtitle III— Contract Disputes › Chapter 71— CONTRACT DISPUTES › § 7108
When a court orders the Federal Government to pay a claim under this chapter, the government must pay quickly under the procedures in section 1304 of title 31. If an agency board awards money to a contractor, the agency must also pay quickly under those same procedures. Those payments must be repaid into the fund in section 1304 of title 31 by the agency that used the money, either from funds it has or by getting extra appropriations. But judgments against the Tennessee Valley Authority and awards by its contract board must be paid under section 9(b) of the Tennessee Valley Authority Act of 1933 (16 U.S.C. 831h(b)).
