Title 42 › Chapter 117— ENCOURAGING GOOD FAITH PROFESSIONAL REVIEW ACTIVITIES › Subchapter III— DEFINITIONS AND REPORTS › § 11152
The Secretary of Health and Human Services must tell Congress each year for three years after November 14, 1986, about how the chapter is being carried out. The Secretary must try to make written agreements with the Secretary of Defense and the VA Administrator so subchapter II applies to their hospitals and health care providers. The Secretary must also try to make an agreement with the Drug Enforcement Administrator so DEA reports to HHS when a practitioner's registration to handle controlled substances is suspended or revoked under section 824 of title 21. The Secretary must report to Congress not later than two years after November 14, 1986, about any such agreements and how the agencies cooperated.
