Title 42 › Chapter 119— HOMELESS ASSISTANCE › Subchapter V— IDENTIFICATION AND USE OF SURPLUS FEDERAL PROPERTY › § 11412
Within 90 days after July 22, 1987, the Administrator must require State agencies to share information about surplus personal property that can help provide food, shelter, or other services to homeless people. That property must be given to homeless service providers at a small charge or free if the Administrator agrees to reimburse the State agency for care and handling costs.
